We are currently assisting a Leading organisation in their search for Maintenance Team-Leader – Electrically Trained
This is an opportunity to join an already established maintenance team, and to join a company who have Sites throughout the UK as well as overseas. A company who drives training and development on site and pride themselves on a good working environment.
The Maintenance Team-Leader with support a Team of 3 electrical engineer’s and X2 Apprentices, reporting directly into the Maintenance Manager.

Shift requirements: Monday to Friday – Days – 8am till 5pm - Early finish on Friday.
The Maintenance Team-leader’s role is Commutable from the following locations: Bolton / Oldham / Stockport / Manchester
Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Team-leader:
Working closely with the Maintenance Manager
Material Control – Making sure all Parts, Tools and materials are available
Provide Support and resource on Project work
Carry out inspections and audits, provide advice and feedback and support as and when needed.
Ensure Deadlines are met on Plant
Supporting permanent engineers as well as Contractors on Plant.
Attend maintenance meetings as and when required.
Experience the Maintenance team leader will hold:
Previous experience within a Team-leaders’ roles – Senior position
Experienced within FMCG / Manufacturing / Heavy engineering environments
Must be Electrically biased – Strong Fault-finding abilities.
Hold Good leadership skill / Great Communicator.
Able to use Excel / Power point / Word and Email.
Must be apprentice trained – holding formal qualifications in electrical engineering.

Call out system in place – you will be required to work a 1in5 call out system.
Duties and requirements the Maintenance electrician will hold and be responsible for:
Previous experience within a similar role is essential to this role.
Strong fault-finding abilities.
Prove experience within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with: AC & DC Drives, Installation experience, Wire testing, Panel Building, Instrumentation.
Experienced with Siemens PLC’s – strong fault-finding abilities – Programming would be at an advantage.
Planned preventive maintenance.
Carry out routine servicing and inspection on all production machinery.
Carry out essential testing of equipment and systems.
Ideally holding experience with ATEX equipment.
Ideally, we are looking for a 70/30 split as there will be some mechanical requirements.
We are looking for an Apprentice trained maintenance electrician.
Holding a Formal qualification in Electrical engineering – City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3
