Ability with Setting / operating / milling and turning – mainly FANUC and Mazatrol Controls.
Able to work to engineering drawings and 3D Models
Proven experience with programming MAZAK integrex multi axis turning centres.
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies – Kaizen & 5S
Ideally the CNC Programmer will be Apprentice trained holding a HND/HNC in Manufacturing Engineering.

As Special Purpose Machine Build Supervisor you will lead a multi-disciplined team of technicians to ensure each build is completed on time, within budget and that it’s handed over to the customer with complete satisfaction.
As part of your role you will also be tasked with managing site services, driving 5S and ensuring all statutory regulations are adhered to.

Have a proven background in leading an engineering team within a special purpose machine build environment. Where you have had direct responsibility for plant performance, achieving targets, process development, mentoring staff, setting and monitoring KPI’s and managing time critical projects.
Qualified to a HNC standard Mechanically
Have climbed the ranks of engineering from an apprentice level (ideally in toolmaking or mechanical fitting) into a position where you have supervised a team.
