RESPONSIBILITIES
Create new product designs from concept through to production
Conduct design changes to existing products
Attend NPI meetings
Working with a wide range of materials, such as plastic injection mould, castings and metals
This is a multi-dimensional role, with a range of projects on the go, at any one time
Working closely with customers and suppliers
Drive cost reduction projects
BOM and Part creation, drawing revision and Issues control
Familiar with computer simulation and modelling programs
If experienced, review Design Engineers work
REQUIREMENTS
Relevant Qualifications to support experience- ideally, to Degree level
It is essential that you have exposure to 3D & “D CAD, such as Solidworks or CATIA
Ideally, you will have gained your experience from within a manufacturing environment
Good knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Knowledge of diecast, moulded, pressed or machined parts would be advantageous
This would suit a friendly, sociable character
To have the ability to work on a n umber of projects at any one time
Keen eye for detail
To have the ability build relationships

Working days, as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor you will be required to manage a small team, whilst also ensuring planned maintenance is undertaken to schedule, allied to being responsible for reactive maintenance issues.
A key part of your role is undertaking plant related project work, where you will have full lifecycle responsibility from initial concept through to final commissioning.
