Duties of a Maintenance Technician:
Working within a team of likeminded professionals, you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to automated plant and equipment within our state of the art facility.
Requirements of a Maintenance Technician:
You must hold a documented apprenticeship and qualified to a minimum of City & Guilds / NVQ 3 within an Electrical discipline and have exposure to undertaking planned and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment within a fast paced environment which must include both Robots and Plc Controls.
This role is commutable from Erdington, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Coleshill, Atherstone and Coventry

Duties of an Maintenance Technician
As a proven Maintenance Technician you will be required to undertake both electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either an engineering, manufacturing or a production plant environment.

You must Apprentice trained be qualified to either a City & Guilds or NVQ standard Electrically allied to having previous experience of supporting plant and equipment (including Plc Controls) within an engineering, manufacturing or a production plant environment.

CNC Setter Operator Programmer Responsibilities:
Programme, set and run a variety of CNC machines and controls
Working from engineering drawings and CAD files, with a variety of different materials and manufacturing processes
Using CNC and manual machinery plus a variety of hand tools
Machines on site are:- vertical milling machines, Bridgeport vertical milling centres, Colchester tornedo turning, Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, and Hass
Set, Operate and Programme CNC milling / and or turning machines

CNC Setter Operator Programmer Requirements:
To have previous experience of setting, operating and programming CNC machines
Ideally, exposure to milling and / or turning machines
Bridgeport, Colchester, Fanuc, Siemens, Hass and / or Heidenhain but not essential
To have the ability to read engineering drawings
Knowledge of CADCAM would be beneficial
Exposure to use of measuring tools, such as callipers and micrometres
A good understanding of feeds and speeds
This will suit a helpful, pleasant, and friendly natured individual
Happy working days with a 12 Noon Friday finish
