This is an opportunity to join an established organisation who have sites throughout the UK, a company who continue to make major investments and drive training and progression on site. The maintenance engineer’s position is commutable from the following: : Bolton / Heywood / Rochdale / Radcliffe / Bury

Position: Maintenance Engineer
Shift: Days Monday to Friday – 8am till 5pm – 1hour Lunch.
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000
Benefits: 8% Pension, Profit related pay scheme, Company health care, 24+8days holiday

Experience with Maintenance Engineer will hold:
Ideally the maintenance engineer will hold previous experience within a heavy engineering Plant.
Mechanically biased with a slight electrical ability would be at an advantage – roughly 80/20 Split

Qualified to an HNC / City & Guilds / NVQ – Electrical engineering / Maintenance.
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
Holding strong Electrical abilities.
Experience with: Motor and Drives, Single & 3phase systems, AC & DC Speed Drives, PLC’s – Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley,
Duties & Responsibilities:
React to all Electrical Breakdowns throughout the site.
Maintain Textiles Equipment
Rectify issues and provide feedback on pending breakdowns & Issues.
Read Electrical drawings.
Computer Literate and able to process work orders – through MMS systems.
Working to a Strict Deadline.
Offer support as and when required throughout the site.

Duties and requirements the Maintenance Electrician will hold and be responsible for:
Strong fault- finding abilities with Allen Bradley & Siemens S7 PLC’s
Experience with: Motors and Drives / Inverters / Single and 3 Phase systems.
Confident with both Hydraulics & Pneumatics / Bearings / Fluid systems / Steam systems / Press Machinery / Conveyor systems
Experienced with Motor testing.
We are ideally looking for the individual to hold a 60/40 Split – electrically biased.
Welding and machining experience would be at an advantage.
Previous experience within a Textiles / Manufacturing environment.
We are looking for an Apprentice trained engineer.
Holding a ONC / City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering
Also holding their 18th IEE Wiring regulations.
Flexibility is key as there will also be a call out Rota in place – rotating Weekly.
