Essential Criteria for an Environmental, Health and Safety Officer:
- IOSH / NEBOSH
- Previous experience being a Environmental, Health and Safety Officer.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ideal Criteria for an Environmental, Health and Safety Officer:
- ISO 14001 auditor.
- Experienced with Kaizan continuous improvement techniques.
- Engineering / Manufacturing background.
Key Performance Measures for an Environmental, Health and Safety Officer:
- Manage accidents and near miss reports.
- Ensure a reduction in RIDDOR reportable accidents to zero.
- Continual ISO14001 compliance.
- Utilise waste monitoring / control and reduce waste.
- Make sure rules, policies and procedures are compliant with environmental health and safety legislation.
- Implement energy saving improvements.
