A fantastic steel firm in the heart of the black country have tasked me with finding a mechanically bias maintenance engineer. My client is well-established and the UK’s largest in their sector.
My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to be part of a two-man team on a 3-shift rota. You will be tasked with preventative and reactive maintenance work on all plant and equipment. This role will suit someone with a heavy engineering background.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

Maintenance Engineer Duties:
- X3-shift rota (days, afternoons, nights).
- Installation work.
- Hydraulic system work.
- Pneumatic system work.
- General welding and fabrication.
- Keep maintenance logs.
- Planned and reactive maintenance.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Engineering apprenticeship.
- Hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Steel / Heavy engineering experience.
- Welding abilities.
- Bench fitting.
- Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
