Duties of an Maintenance Engineer

As a proven Maintenance Engineer you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, that will see you supporting a wide range of plant and equipment. 

Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer

Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must be qualified Electrically to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard and have both electrical and strong mechanical skills, alongside ideally an appreciation of Plc controls and drives. 

Your experience must have been gained within either a heavy engineering, manufacturing or production environment. 

The role is commutable from Great Bridge, Tipton, Tividale, Walsall & Wednesbury

I have a fantastic opportunity for multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join a heavy, high-volume production site in Bilston near Wolverhampton. My client is well established within its field and produces some big brand products for the likes of Screwfix, B&Q and Wickes. In this role you will be in charge of all planned and preventive maintenance on site. 

This position would be ideal for someone with plant maintenance skills and a good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. You will be working a day’s only shift pattern (see below), and you will be paid a lifestyle bonus of £47 for every weekend day worked (excluding overtime). This will take your salary to around £51,074.

Duties of a Maintenance Supervisor  

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be required to lead the maintenance team ensuring that PM’s are undertaken to schedule whilst also managing breakdown situations, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a manufacturing, process or production environment.
