Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 16:30 and 08:30 – 13:30 Friday
As a Process Engineer the purpose of the role is:
Deliver NPI projects on-time, to specification and budget.
Continuous reporting to client and internally.
Assisting in implementing solutions to technical issues.
Conduct tool design reviews with toolmakers.
Manage budgets and purchase from vendors.
Hand over all documents, tools and SOPs to the appropriate teams.
Key skills required for the Project Engineer:
Degree / HNC or equivalent in an engineering or science discipline (will consider long term experience)
Deliver the project to schedule and budget independently.
Experience with press tooling in design or manufacturing environments.
Understanding of contracts and commercial awareness.
Able to decipher technical drawings efficiently.
Use of Microsoft project software.
Skills/Experience for a Project Engineer:
Understanding of our manufacturing process – press / stamping, laser cutting, press brake, MIG welding, projection welding, machining and mechanical assembly.
Know how to work with automation equipment.
CAD and SolidWords experience preferred.
Able to use basic measuring equipment’s (calipers, micrometer, height gauge)
