Quality Technician 

We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a QUALITY TECHNICIAN / INPECTOR / ENGINEER

For the Quality Technician / Inspector / Engineer, this role is commutable from:-

Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Halesowen, Moseley, Tyseley, Bearwood, Smethwick, West Bromwich, Aston, Hall Green, Acocks Green and Minworth

RESPONSIBILITIES for Quality Technician / Inspector /  Engineer

  • This is a shopfloor -based role, supporting Quality and manufacturing issues
  • Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions to drive improvements in both quality and process
  • Support NPI and lease of  new projects with quality inspection and homologation of parts
  • Working closely with Suppliers on Quality Inspection and validation of parts
  • Champion lean and good housekeeping (5S)
  • Review process control activities
  • Provide daily support with all Quality issues
  • Line balancing, CI activities to improve efficiencies and productivity 
  • Cost and scrap reductions

REQUIREMENTS for Quality Technician / Inspector / Engineer

  • Relevant experience gained within Quality / and or Process Engineering
  • You will have gained your experience within manufacturing
  • Due to the nature of the manufacturing products, you must have gained your experience from within the UK
  • Shop floor based experience 
  • Exposure to working to lean manufacturing 
  • Experience of cost reductions and continuous improvements
  • Supplier liaison
