Weekend Shift Maintenance Technician (Day & Night Opportunities Available)

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing operational efficiency and reliability of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance, inspections and repairs on advanced automated plant and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues to determine appropriate solutions, which will extend to supporting CNC, Plc Controls and / or Robots.
- Collaborate with other shift team members to address urgent maintenance requirements and minimise downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and extend the lifespan of our equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work done, parts used, and time spent.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.
Requirements of a Maintenance Technician:
- Electrical and / or mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 standard.
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship programme.
- Proven experience in undertaking planned and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Effective communication skills to report maintenance updates.
