This an autonomous role, giving you full responsibility for Quality.

Our location is conveniently commutable from Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Solihull, Moseley, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Minworth, Aston, Wednesfield and Harbourne

Quality Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage the re-qualification process for ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding quality-related matters, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate closely with the Production team, to identify and eliminate internal quality defects, ensuring a streamlined manufacturing process.
  • Conduct regular audits of our Quality Procedures to guarantee strict adherence to established standard and protocols.
  • Provide support to the teams responsible for inspecting incoming products from suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Monitor the quality of these products and implement necessary remedial actions when deviations from quality standards are identified

Quality Manager Requirements:

  • Previous experience of managing Quality from within a manufacturing environment
  • To have previously conducted internal audits
  • A natural leader, who can motivate and lead
  • To have the ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Computer literate
  • A true Team Player, someone who genuinely wants to help and develop people around you.
  • A strong problem solver
