We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a CNC PROGRAMMER SETTER OPERATOR

Overall purpose of this role, is to programme, set and run a variety CNC machines and controls to produce high quality components 

Commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Henley-in-Arden, Redditch, Studley, Stratford-upon-Avon, Coleshill, Minworth, Sutton Coldfield, Tyseley, Aston, Aldridge and Solihull

CNC Setter Operator Programmer Responsibilities:

  • Programme, set and run a variety of CNC machines and controls
  • Working  from engineering drawings and CAD files, with a variety of different materials and manufacturing processes
  • Using CNC and manual machinery plus a variety of hand tools
  • Machines on site are:- vertical milling machines, Bridgeport vertical milling centres, Colchester tornedo turning, Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, and Hass
  • Set, Operate and Programme CNC milling / and or turning machines
  • Happy working days

CNC Setter Operator Programmer Requirements:

  • To have previous experience of setting, operating and programming CNC machines
  • Ideally, exposure to milling and / or turning machines
  • Bridgeport, Colchester, Fanuc, Siemens, Hass and / or Heidenhain but not essential
  • To have the ability to read engineering drawings
  • Knowledge  of CADCAM would be beneficial
  • Exposure to use of measuring tools, such as callipers and micrometres
  • A good understanding of feeds and speeds
  • This will suit a helpful, pleasant, and friendly natured individual
  • Happy working days with a 12 Noon Friday finish
