Role Overview

  • The Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager - the role is to support, grow and continuously improve the manufacture of world class products. 
  • You will be a critical part of a team in developing new methods of manufacture for machining of internal components to drawings specifications. 
  • The Production Engineer will be required to work closely with the Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams to influence the design for manufacture on existing products and NPI. 
  • Key elements for the role will be NPI, customer liaison for NPI to include APQP, PPAP activities. 
  • Knowledge of designing jigs & fixtures, tooling, create work instructions, improve product flow is essential.

Production Engineer Salary and Hours

  • £36,000 – 40,000
  • Working hours 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday & 7.30am – 12.30pm Friday.

Commutable From: Coventry, Solihull, Rugby, Nuneaton, Hinckley

Essential Candidate Requirements

  • A proven track record within a Production Engineer or / Manufacturing Engineer role.
  • Strong knowledge of machining techniques, working with manual & CNC machine tools - specifically CNC Turning (knowledge of Mazak controls is desirable but isn’t essential).
  • A good knowledge of castings & cutting tools.
  • Able to work under own initiative, and as part of a team.

Other Useful Experience

(some of the below would also be nice, not all are required)

  • Experience of time measurement and analysis of lost time.
  • Communicating and presenting data effectively.
  • Familiar with Quality Systems / PPAP & Environmental Issues.
  • Experience implementing Lean improvements.
  • Experience in mid / low volume assemblies.
  • Ability to pick up a project from cradle to grave hitting pre-determined timelines

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating CMM programs, utilising PC-DIMIS
  • Evaluate measurement data
  • Daily planning and scheduling of metrology workloads
  • Conduct and complete set ups, measurements and interpretations for part investigations
  • Creating measurement programs for CMM with or without CAD model
  • Drawing up initial sample test reports as per the VDA and PPAP template
  • Calibration of gauges, maintain measuring equipment
  • Re-qualification inspections
  • SPC

REQUIREMENTS

  • It is essential that you have relevant CMM Programming experience
  • Ideally PC-DMIS
  • Any QUINDOS knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential
  • To have gained your experience from within a manufacturing environment
  • Good working knowledge of PPAP’s and SPC
  • Good level of IT Literacy

Area Sales Manager Candidate Requirements

  • Proven sales experience within either; Instrumentation, Valves, Pumps, Pneumatics or similar.

Role Overview

Candidate Requirements

  • You will have a background in process design and development that includes a strong understanding of whole-of-factory level impact and commercial considerations with regard to large change projects as well as continuous improvement initiatives

  • Planning, managing and delivering manufacturing programmes for process, equipment, tooling and factory layout improvements, as well step-change ground-up projects
  • Engineering solutions for manufacturing and production that deliver benefits in efficiency, quality and accuracy both today and for the future state
  • Managing and planning product changes (quality cost and time justification for and against within manufacturing, supporting NPI as part of a cross functional business wide team)
  • Future design and development of factory layout scenarios and process flow design in line with operational strategy

  • Development of manufacturing standards, processes and measures in line with the business performance that can be translated globally across Operations


Desirable Experience

Any of the below would be useful but aren’t essential:
Experience in using AutoCAD or similar plant layout design CAD software, Working knowledge of production lean methodologies and associated tools i.e. OEE, TPM, 5S, Experience of working with quality management systems within manufacturing and production, Practical application of industry standard problem-solving tools i.e. 8D, 5Y, Team and project leadership experience in similar environment or role, Background and experience in automation solutions for production in similar industry or environment, Experience in jig and tool design, Ability to read and produce engineering drawings

Senior Management Accountant (Manufacturing) Candidate Requirements

  • It is essential that you can demonstrate day-to-day manufacturing accounts experience or Production Accounting experience
  • You will be a fully qualified Accountant - CIMA or ACCA 
  • Experience of Peoplesoft or Coins accounting packages and construction/ engineering experience would be an advantage
  • You may be required, periodically, to visit job sites and regional offices.


Senior Management Accountant (Manufacturing) Key Responsibilities

  • Full preparation and control of the production and manufacturing accounts
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of regular group reports including monthly management accounts, cash reporting and quarterly statutory consolidation
  • Working with site teams and the shared service department to review and understand monthly costs whilst improving reporting accuracy
  • Periodically visiting job sites

We are looking for somebody to manage and assist in development and engineering projects at the site and to provide second line support to the Engineering team. Duties of a Controls Software Engineer:

  • As a vital member of our team you will be required to create bespoke automation solutions for our manufacturing requirements. 
  • The role requires you to undertake Plc design, programming, commissioning, alongside providing support throughout the complete project lifecycle. 
  • On occasions you may also be asked to support with the robot programming, vision systems and have an understanding of good manufacturing practice guidelines. 
  • Collaborate with clients and internal staff to design concepts that meet requirements.
  • Assist in developing cost estimates for proposals.
  • Create validation documentation, including software design specifications, test records and supporting documentation like O&M manuals, software releases, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Design, code, commission, test and provide aftermarket support for our bespoke machinery worldwide.

  • Requirements of a Controls Software Engineer:
