Duties of a Software Engineer:

  • As a vital member of our team you will be required to create bespoke automation solutions for our manufacturing requirements. The role requires you to undertake HMI and Plc design, programming, commissioning, alongside providing support throughout complete project lifecycle. 
  • On occasions you may also be asked to support with the robot programming, vision systems and have an understanding of good manufacturing practice guidelines. 
  • Collaborate with clients and internal staff to design concepts that meet requirements.
  • Assist in developing cost estimates for proposals.
  • Create validation documentation, including software design specifications, test records and supporting documentation like O&M manuals, software releases, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Design, code, commission, test and provide aftermarket support for our bespoke machinery worldwide.
  • Conduct system validation, including Factory Acceptance Testing and oversee validation.

Requirements of a Software Engineer:

  • Proven experience designing PLC, HMI and SCADA software alongside supporting existing applications. 
  • Competent with communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, Profinet, CAN, IP, Serial, etc.).
  • Competent with IEC 61131-3, C#, Java or Structured Text.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and source control using Git.

IT Support Technician Salary and Benefits

  • £25,000 - £27,000 (dependant on experience)
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

IT Support Technician Role Function

The IT Support Technician will support the IT team in providing a comprehensive IT service for the company to enable it to meet its company objectives and business targets.

As IT Support Technician, you’ll be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's IT network, servers, client devices and security systems, including investigating, diagnosing and resolving network, server, client devices and software problems, collecting IT usage stats, making recommendations for improving the company's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.


Candidate Requirements

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic networking experience: 
    • Understanding of common network devices: Firewalls, routers, switches, and access points
    • Cabling: Patching to switches and making cables
  • Methodical approach to investigating issues using tools such as Google, ChatGPT etc
  • Great people skills with people from diverse backgrounds and IT skills levels
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Basic end user training
  • Creation and upkeep of documentation in Confluence

Lead Software Developer Person Specification

  • A technical Degree ideally, anything Software based or similar would stand out.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within a commercial software environment.

Duties of a Facilities Engineer / Site Services Electrician

 

  • As a proven Site Services Electrician / Facilities Engineer you will working on our single site as a static engineer, undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance to the sites electrical infrastructure and building services associated to the facility. 

Requirements of a Facilities Engineer / Site Services Electrician

  • Have a proven background in undertaking Electrical Installation work (single & three phase) within a manufacturing, process or production environment. 
  • Ideally Have Experience of undertaking statutory maintenance checks on Compressed Air Infrastructure, Fire Suppression Systems and Sub Stations. 
  • Have experience of supporting a wide range of internal lighting and power (Ideally both LV & HV)

  • Duties of a Maintenance Technician:
