Quality Inspector Resposibilities:

  • First off and Patrol inspection
  • Contribute to continuous improvements
  • Final view inspection
  • Record and maintain inspection and test records
  • First article inspection reports
  • Support with internal audits
  • Happy to work shifts

Quality Inspector SKills Requirements:

  • Relevant Quality Experience within Quality Inspection
  • To have the ability to read engineering drawings
  • Relevant experience with uses of inspection equipment such as micrometers and verniers
  • Use of CMM would be beneficial but not essential
  • NDT Testing, again, advantageous but not essential as training can be offered
  • Strong work ethic, motivated and keen
  • Enthusiastic to broaden your knowledge and experience
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • Happy to work shifts

Quality Engineer Duties:

  • Support the quality department to ensure products and processes are up to the company’s quality standards.
  • Support departments to improve quality and minimise cost while implementing improvements.
  • Encourage a team environment and implement best practises that emphasis on defect prevention.

Required Skills and Experience for a Quality Engineer:

  • Have previously worked in a fast-paced environment (i.e. Automotive.)
  • Used previous problem-solving techniques (8D / 5 Why / Ishikawa etc)
  • Have auditing experience and hold an IATF16949 standard.
  • Have knowledge with core tools – MSA / SPC / ISIR and HD&T Principles.
  • Awareness and preferable usage of Six Sigma Techniques.
  • QMS Experience.
  • Metrology and CMM experience.
  • Engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • Preferred to have working experience with welding / pressings / laser cutting but not necessary.

Metrology Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Creating CMM programs
  • Evaluate measurement data
  • Creating measurement programs for CMM with or without CAD model
  • Drawing up initial sample test reports as per the VDA and PPAP template
  • Implementing all measurement equipment 
  • Calibration of gauges
  • Re-qualification inspections
  • SPC

Metrology Engineer Requirements:

  • It is essential that you have relevant CMM Programming experience
  • Ideally PC-DMIS

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Completing post-market surveillance reports. Including Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) and Safety and Clinical Performance (SSCPs)
  • Manage clinical data for – Direct feedback from client / Customer complaints / Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) / Vigilance database / Published clinical literature
  • Assist in Clinical Research Organisations (CROs) during clinical investigations.
  • Input into Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs)
  • Report to clinical authorities.
  • Assist in managing QMS by: providing input for customer complaints / Input preventative and corrective actions / Conduct internal audits / Maintain SOPs and other QMS documents. 

Quality Engineer Skills Required:

  • Ability to work with external partners (surgeons)
  • Able to communicate with other departments when needed.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820 and the medical device regulations (desired)

The Laboratory Technician role is perfect for a candidate with product testing experience within manufacturing or R&D environments.

As Laboratory Technician you will be working closely with the global R&D department on-site to support new products gaining regulatory approval ahead of manufacture.

Shift the maintenance electrician will be required to work: 8am till 4:30pm

  • City & Guilds 2391 in testing & inspection. 
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring regulations 
  • CompEx certificate 
  • Valid JIB Card 
  • IOSH Managing Safely

  • We are ideally looking for the individual to hold a 60/40 Split – electrically biased. 
  • Welding and machining experience would be at an advantage. 
  • Previous experience within a Textiles / Manufacturing environment. 
  • We are looking for an Apprentice trained engineer. 
  • Holding a ONC / City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering 
  • Also holding their 18th IEE Wiring regulations. 
  • Flexibility is key as there will also be a call out Rota in place – rotating Weekly.
