Pay, Hours and Benefits

  • £23,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience
  • 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Customer Experience Advisor to join a successful Sales and Marketing Team, with a business who operate in a growth market and are the market leaders in their area of expertise.

There is no cold calling required for this position, it is a mix of inbound call handling and outbound call follow-ups - they only contact customers who have contacted them.

Your job is to considerately help customers through the decision-making process. They work with disabled and elderly people and want people who can demonstrate empathy and help people with proper recommendations and great service, not those that smash sales targets at any cost.

In-depth training will give you all the product knowledge you need to excel in this role.


Customer Experience Advisor Candidate Requirements

  • The business is looking for a professional Customer Experience Advisor with effective questioning and listening skills, who can help customers in a positive and friendly manner
  • You will provide excellent customer service, building trust, helping people through the three phases of the decision-making process; enquiry, needs assessment and fitting
  • An empathetic personality / approach
  • Excellent telephone manner with a genuine passion for helping people
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word, internet & email
  • The ability to work to agreed process & procedures to deliver daily KPI's
  • Consistency and a positive attitude to your working day
  • Call centre, customer service or sales experience is an advantage but more importantly your attitude


Customer Experience Advisor Key Responsibilities

  • Taking inbound enquiries from all sources
  • Advising the customer on products and services that would best suit their needs
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the existing customers as well as developing the existing enquiries and promoting new business
  • Being cross trained across all areas of the sales function
  • Maintaining an excellent level of product knowledge through self-study and supported development
  • Ensuring all customers are advised considerately through the decision-making process
  • Updating the database/CRM with customer records
  • Contacting potential customers to arrange appointments
  • Resolving any sales related issues with customers
  • Providing basic technical assistance to customers calling in with enquiries

Role Overview

Due to continued growth, the business is looking to recruit a Junior Order Entry Administrator to join their Sales Team.
Flexibility is key in this role supporting the Sales Department with Order Entry/Administration activity.
Your primary purpose in this role short term is to allow the order to be processed.
As this becomes more automated, you will transition into more of an admin support role to the Sales Department.


Junior Order Entry Administrator Candidate Requirements

  • Process orders received
  • Order Entry using the system
  • Flex between different order types and use of systems 
  • Take In-bound enquiries from Agents querying orders
  • Communicate requirements to Agents and internal colleagues

Probe Technical Recruitment are recruiting a very exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a unique manufacturer based in Leicester. You will be part of a team of Maintenance Engineers delivering maintenance support and activities to maintain site compliance, improve the safety, quality and efficiency of all assets.

The benefits package for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role include:

  • Salary depending one experience £40,000 - £48,000 
  • There are 40 hour weekly rotational shift patterns in place covering earlies, lates and nights covering both sites. (6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am).
  • Annual leave of 31 days inclusive of bank holidays (rising to 32 after 5 years’ service and your 
  • birthday off after 2 years’ service)
  • Company sick pay (after successful probation) of 8 weeks

You must be a qualified Engineer, City and Guilds or equivalent trained dual skilled with strong skills across both mechanical/electrical disciplines. Due to the varied equipment, they have across both sites, qualifications, skills and experience we are mainly looking for include electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors, belts (this is not an exhaustive list).

The key areas of focus and duties for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role include: 

  • Extensive experience in service driven production/process industries
  • Ability to identify and implement actions to improve/maintain productivity.
  • To work with production teams to optimise the production processes of mixing, coating & converting to 
  • improve quality and reduce waste. 
  • Provide as necessary support for the installation of new parts and equipment.
  • To perform repairs to plant and equipment in accordance with best practice.

There are several other duties that will be discussed further at initial interview.

The company are experts in their field, and reporting into a Director, your role will be to lead an engineering and maintenance team to safely and cost effectively achieve the uptime and productivity targets required to grow sales and success. Flexibility is key for this role along with project management and organisation skills.

  • The benefits package for the Engineering Manager role include:
  • Salary is up to £55,000 based on qualifications and experience

This role would suit someone who is appropriately qualified (Degree/ HND in technical Electrical / Mechanical / Engineering or tools qualified with significant experience). Also to have worked in a manufacturing environment that understands the needs of both the business targets and the long-term requirements of the equipment. An experienced Maintenance or Engineering Manager of teams who are spread across more than one large site is advantageous where health and safety is of vital importance.

The key areas of focus and duties for the Engineering Manager role include: 

  • To ensure the completion of planned preventive maintenance schedules using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (Agility). 
  • To work with the Maintenance Team Leader to support the development of effective planned preventive maintenance schedules and to analyse the data produced to identify engineering improvement projects 
  • Plant Availability to agreed targets.
  • PPM’s Completion to agreed targets and standards
  • Delivery of strategic projects to original justification, budget and timeframes

Contracts Manager Salary and Benefits

  • £50,000 - £55,000
  • Plus, car allowance (£500 per month, £6,000 per year)
  • 37.5 hours, Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:15pm, 12pm on Friday’s
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Early finish Friday’s

Contracts Manager Role Overview

The Contracts Manager will profitably manage and develop the Contracts Department incorporating Installations, Maintenance & Electrical Design within the agreed Business Plan.


Contracts Manager Person Specification

  • Experience of Project Planning, People Management and Motivation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely and profitably.
  • A self-motivated Manager who is able to work well within a team of Managers and on their own initiative.
  • Excellent multi-tasker with the ability to manage their time to meet deadlines.
  • An excellent communicator, who is able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business. 
  • A holder of a health and safety qualification, ideally IOSH or NEBOSH.
  • Previous experience in the steel erection / steelwork industry would be an advantage.
  • Possess excellent IT skills and knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Be prepared to role your sleeves up and get your hands dirty.
  • Visit sites and clients in conjunction with the sales team and engage with clients to demonstrate a proficiency in company operations.


Contracts Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all activities within the Department including Project Management, QS and estimating ensuring they all deliver on time and in compliance with the customer orders.
  • Monitor and advise on overhead and profit management for projects.
  • Negotiation with Sub-Contractors.
  • To ensure adequate provisions are made to ensure the safe delivery of all activities, including (but not limited to) overseeing RAMS, training and the safe use of plant and equipment.
  • Implement agreed Business Plans to achieve targeted growth and profit levels for the business.
