  • Proven Quality experience.

  • Engage production teams in quality management processes and drive a continuous improvement culture.
  • Inspection of product at all stages of production in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan.

Senior Management Accountant (Manufacturing) Candidate Requirements

  • It is essential that you can demonstrate day-to-day manufacturing accounts experience or Production Accounting experience
  • You will be a fully qualified Accountant - CIMA or ACCA 
  • Experience of Peoplesoft or Coins accounting packages and construction/ engineering experience would be an advantage

Senior Management Accountant (Manufacturing) Key Responsibilities

  • Full preparation and control of the production and manufacturing accounts
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of regular group reports including monthly management accounts, cash reporting and quarterly statutory consolidation
  • Working with site teams and the shared service department to review and understand monthly costs whilst improving reporting accuracy

The Project Engineer will be the primary technical lead of designated projects. Project Engineer Candidate Requirements
Please Note: Due to the security level of the projects the business work on, British Nationality is required for this role.

  • Project Engineer experience within a precision engineering business in a regulated industry
  • Qualified to HNC level minimum - someone who is Apprentice Trained would be ideal. 
  • You will have a precision engineering background, exposure to machining - someone with previous hands-on machining experience would be perfect
  • Experience of manufacturing routings
  • Able to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Good working knowledge of Project Management methodologies

An Estimator with steel experience, is required to join a continually growing, reputable structural company. 

The Steelwork Estimator must be familiar with and fully comply with the requirements of the company’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems. You will be required to perform all the necessary functions required to fulfil the duties of a Steelwork Estimator including but not limited to the below:

  • The main works the Steelwork Estimator must be able to undertake is steelwork platforms, walkways, access ways complete with stairs, handrails, etc, structural buildings and cladding, rail, constructions, rail, MOD, utilities, nuclear.

Essential Skills of the Steelwork Estimator

  • Proven estimating experience within steelwork / metalwork / fabrication.
  • Technical knowledge of structural designs and materials for relevant industries

  • Time management skills enabling multiple tender enquiry management

Key Responsibilities

  • The Steelwork Estimator will review technical drawings and initial scope of works for all enquiries.
  • Ensure all relevant industry standards and procedures are available for enquiries.
  • Develop a bill of quantity for all steelwork and associated products within a given tender.
  • Forecast fabrication, metal finish and installation requirements of projects.
  • Ensure any formal programs for the project received from customers are filed with tenders, to allow successful project management.
  • Consider all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems requirements for tenders.
  • Produce final tender documents including full cost base and scope of works.
  • Update the Enquiry Management Access database with all relevant information.
  • Make projects live on Exchequer when orders are confirmed.
  • Store tender related documents on the T: drive within the customer related directories.
  • Liaising with clients to confirm works and attending sites to complete surveys when necessary.
  • Agreeing specifications of work with clients and making adequate notes to enable the manufacture and installation of projects.
  • Periodically contacting customers to chase up tender acceptance.

Role Overview

Warehouse Manager Candidate Requirements – but not limited to

  • The Warehouse Manager will have previous experience from a similar role with some leadership experience.

  • Responsible for leading and motivating the team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner. To include, receiving goods to Stores and delivery to point of requirement according to scheduled and other demands & for Packing, Despatch and Shipping operations.
  • Ensure inbound On-Time In-Fill is maximized through prompt and accurate goods receipt. Positively influence Sales On-Time In-Fill through making available raw materials and parts, right time and right place and pulling through Sales Orders to meet customer delivery targets.
  • Effective management of stock holding ensuring optimisation of warehouse locations to support the smooth flow of materials and goods to the point of use and outbound shipment of sales orders.

CMM Programmer Candidate Requirements

  • It is essential that the CMM Programmer has Mitutoyo machines experience.
  • Proficiency with MCOSMOS programming system.

  • The CMM Programmer will develop and execute CMM programs using the MCOSMOS software.
  • Perform precise measurements and inspections of components using Mitutoyo CMM equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) by identifying gaps, assessing opportunities for improvement, and coordinating corrective action planning and execution.
  • Lead the accreditation process for BS EN 9001, AS9100, and ISO 14001 standards, ensuring that all required documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Ensure full legal compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to operational facilities.
  • Actively promote adherence to Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) policies, fostering a culture of compliance.

Probe Technical Recruitment are recruiting a great opportunity for a proven Maintenance Engineer to join a well-respected manufacturing business. We are seeking an experienced, multi-skilled, Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer to perform pro-active and reactive maintenance activities across the manufacturing facilities. The role will cover a range of machinery (from manual machines through to machining centres) along with fabrication equipment and general maintenance.

Along with a day shift Monday – Friday with a 12.30 finish on a Friday, the Maintenance Engineer role also has a package of:
