Experience and Duties the Maintenance Electrician  

• To be multi-skilled – electrically biased – holding roughly a 70/30split
• To Complete all PPM for the site

• Respond to Breakdowns in a timely manner 
• Experience with both Electrical and mechanical parts 
• Able to read Electrical drawings

• Fault finding abilities on PLC’s – Siemens preferably 
• Must be Apprentice trained holding a formal qualification in Electrical engineering HNC / City & Guilds

Probe Technical are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on an early and lates shift. This is an outstanding opportunity to join the UK subsidiary of a large multi-national company. • Can troubleshoot and repair sophisticated machinery (such as electrical, pneumatic or mechanical systems) 
• Can respond urgently to immediate problems and be disciplined enough to plan routine tasks, future improvements and preventative maintenance 
• Good understanding of lean manufacturing techniques (such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, AM & PM).

I'm looking for a mechanically biassed Maintenance Engineer in the Stoke area. We’re working closely to identify an Engineer that is qualified to a minimum level 3 in a mechanical discipline. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manufacture, assemble, maintain, and repair press tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Operate manual machinery, including milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM machines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Conduct tool trials, identify issues, and implement modifications to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot tooling issues in collaboration with the production team.
• Work with a variety of materials, including steel and aluminum, 
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tooling efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of tooling modifications and repairs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Apprentice trained ideally or equivalent
• Experience with Presstools, preferably progression
• Proficiency in using various machining tools including mills, lathes and grinders
• Happy to  work days
