Duties of an Maintenance Technician 

As a proven Maintenance Technician you will be required to undertake both electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either an engineering, manufacturing or a production plant environment.

Requirements of a Maintenance Technician

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

You must Apprentice trained be qualified to either a City & Guilds or NVQ standard Electrically allied to having previous experience of supporting plant and equipment (including Plc Controls) within an engineering, manufacturing or a production plant environment.

We are seeking to recruit a number of multi skilled maintenance contractors to support our plant with a key project.  

You will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to our wide range of production machinery that will require you to hold good multi skilled abilities.

linked to your multi skilled abilities you must also hold some exposure to supporting Plc controls and robotic applications. 

Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must hold formal qualifications electrically or mechanically to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard, having gained your maintenance experience within a fast moving manufacturing or production environment. 
 
 *Please note that as this project falls inside IR35, we will have to pay you via a FCSA accredited Umbrella.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the implementation and compliance of Safety, Health, Chemical, Environmental and Quality policies

Lead Software Developer Person Specification

  • A technical Degree ideally, anything Software based or similar would stand out.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within a commercial software environment.

  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, with experience of Agile Scrum/Sprint planning principles.
