• Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeship qualified - HND to be completed next month.
• 8+ years in Manufacturing Engineering.
• SOPs and Jig Design.
• Process Improvement / Continuous Improvement.
• Introducing new technologies to make new processes more efficient.

• Candidate is used to working within fast-paced environments.
• Experience leading a team of material planners to ensure continuous flow of production.
• Working with MP&L manager to define inventory targets whilst implementing updates in the planning system.
• Reporting daily inventory and transport trend to define “route cause” where deviation is likely to occur.
• Taking ownership of a complex vendor portfolio, scheduling the demand of materials to meet production capacity and minimum safety stocks.

• Several years of proven CNC Milling experience.
• Programming, setting and operating. 
• Fanuc, Siemens and Mazatrol controls.
• Haas and Doosan machines.
• Able to follow Drawing instructions accurately and to work to tight deadlines to meet customer orders.

• 15+ years of material planning experience.
• Knowledge of ERP systems: SAP/GLOVIA/QAD.
• Use MRP to balance demand and supply, creating a delivery plan that satisfies the requirements of production.
• Material Management / managing the material planning processes.
• Liaise with Logistics on cycle count results to identify potential supply risks created.

• 14 years Health Safety and Environmental Management, holds an MSc.
• Candidate is very much focussed on CPD, having self-funded study and certifications.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, CIEH, ILM.
• Leadership, Risk Management, Interpretation of Legislation.
• Inspections and Audits, Report Writing.
