RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting compliance with DSEAR and COMAH UK regulations
  • Develop and implement process safety strategies to meet regulatory and operational requirements. 
  • Deliver technical safety/process engineering solutions that support business objectives. 
  • Lead and participate in process safety assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL target-setting studies, generating reports and managing follow-up actions. 
  • OEE improvements
  • Improvement of cell layouts and lean methodologies
  • Conduct hazardous area classification following industry standards and guidelines. 
  • Develop and implement Functional Safety Management Plans. 
  • Review and produce safety engineering deliverables, including HSE plans, safety specifications, and equipment specifications. 
  • Provide technical input to design assurance reviews, such as P&ID reviews and constructability assessments. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and best practices in process safety and environmental engineering. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in appropriate Engineering Discipline, ideally Chemistry
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Strong understanding of process safety principles and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience in process safety methodologies, design practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of relevant H & S Environmental legislation
  • Familiarity with FEED, Detail Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Plant Start-up processes.
  • Experience of HAZIP/HAZOP/LOPA
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvements

Mechanical Design Engineer Candidate Requirements

  • The Mechanical Design Engineer must have experience in a previous Engineering Design role using 2D and 3D CAD on AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Minimum qualification is HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in a Precision Engineering environment 
  • Tool design experience would be highly advantageous.


Mechanical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Producing design Layouts for quotation purposes.
  • Produce the technical design and specification of the tool to meet customer’s enquiry.
  • Produce 2D and 3D CAD production drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Help support the Technical Department with root cause analysis of technical issues and provide general design support.

This is a superb opportunity for a Plant Fitter to join the team on a Morning shift 6am – 2.30pm Monday – Thursday and 6am – 1.30pm on a Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture, modification, maintenance, and repair, of a variety of piling equipment and ancillaries, ensuring that the fleet remains in prime working condition.

Benefits for the role of Plant Fitter: 

  • This role is weekly paid, on an hourly rate of £16.93. 
  • 39 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Key Duties

  • As a Plant Fitter, your key responsibilities will include: 
  • Using appropriate processes and techniques, you will read and interpret engineering drawings to complete manufacture and modification as requested.
  • Experience and skill of fault-finding, maintenance and repair of heavy-duty construction plant and hydraulic systems would be ideal.
  • Use appropriate hand and power tools to complete tasks

Requirements of the Plant Fitter 
To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria: 

  • You must hold a full UK driving licence and a Level 2 qualification in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
  • This is a fitter role for the rigs not the factory, so previous experience is needed in heavy plant/ construction equipment. 
  • Although this role is not a mobile fitter role, they will be expected to go out to sites to attend breakdowns and general repairs, so need to have a driving licence. 
  • Experience with JCB’s and CAT
  • Welding and fabrication

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing quality processes, leading a team of professionals, and driving improvements in product quality and efficiency. This role requires a strong leader with experience in quality assurance, problem-solving methodologies, and effective communication across teams and with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and guide employees within the SQA and Production Quality teams, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Quality Standards Development: Define and implement local Business Unit (BU) quality standards, including work instructions, limit sample lists, and inspection plans, in coordination with BU Production Quality.:
  • Conduct weekly quality improvement meetings to review product quality metrics, scrap rates, and error analyses.
  • Drive the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and corrective action implementation to reduce scrap and improve quality outcomes.
  • Lead and coordinate the 8D problem-solving process for quality complaints.
  • Generate and present 8D reports, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
  • Attend daily Production Quality meetings and monthly Team Leader meetings with senior management to report KPIs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant Senior Quality Engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Quality standards and methodologies (8D, FMEA, Control Plans and PPAP’s) 
  • Familiarity with metrology and techniques
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Experience with Supplier visits
  • Excellent analysis, attention to detail 
  • To have the ability to coordinate
