Lifting Supervisor Key Responsibilities

  • Create method statements and safe systems of work for required lifting operations.
  • Regularly review and update lifting plans.
  • Manage and monitor crane stability, duty charts and safety devices.
  • Plan and execute all mobile crane contract lifts onsite.
  • Undertake routine checks on lifting equipment in line with LOLER regulations.
  • Manage and monitor daily workload and priorities for a team of Slingers, Signallers, Bankspeople and crane operators.
  • Lead the daily operational briefing.
  • Supervise working areas and makes sure any changes are addressed through revised risk assessments.
  • Carry out competence-based workplace assessments for OHC Operators, Slingers, Signallers and Bankspeople.
  • Prepare exclusion zones.

Role Overview

Electronics Engineer Person Specification

  • Degree qualified in electronics or similar engineering subject.
  • 5+ years’ commercial experience in electronic design, ideally within audio electronics.
  • The Electronics Engineer will ideally have audio experience working with ADC/DAC (Analogue/Digital Converters) and associated components, Op-amps etc.
  • High speed digital electronics experience, working with microcontrollers, DSPs etc.
  • PCB layout and design experience.
  • A guitar or bass player of any experience level is preferred but isn’t essential.

Electronics Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Project lead and design of system architecture.
  • Responsible for all research and full development, through full life cycle, of assigned projects.
  • Contributing towards new innovative design ideas to drive the company technology forward.
  • Undertaking the building and testing of electronic prototypes.
  • Brainstorming new product ideas and technical requirements/ specifications.
  • Communicating with UK and overseas teams on project-specific topics.
  • Assisting other day-to day technical activities of the R&D department.
  • Possible, infrequent overseas travel as required – this is not essential, however can be an exciting opportunity for an engineer to broaden their knowledge and experience.
 

Role Overview

An experienced Quantity Surveyor with proven structural steel / steel structures experience, is required to join a continually growing, reputable structural company who work on a multitude of projects, including: structural buildings & cladding, rail, construction, rail, MOD, utilities and nuclear.

  • Salary £45,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience
  • Office based - Monday to Friday

Quantity Surveyor Candidate Requirements

  • Proven and experienced Quantity Surveyor, to include demonstrable work with Structural Steel projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering would be ideal, but candidates without a degree will also be considered. 
  • Membership or accreditation from recognized professional bodies such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
  • Strong understanding of construction, material, and contract law is essential.
  • Skills in project management and budgeting are immensely beneficial.

The Quantity Surveyor role requires an amalgamation of analytical skills, precise judgment, and robust communication abilities. Detailed knowledge of construction processes, materials, and laws are fundamental, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, economically, and legally compliant. 


Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
  • Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  • Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Performing risk, value management, and cost control during construction.
  • Providing advice on contractual claims and disputes.
  • Tracking changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties of a Maintenance Technician

Working within a supportive team you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant. 

Requirements of a Maintenance Technician 

You must be apprentice trained and hold either City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications in both Electrical & Mechanical disciplines and be truly multi skilled in your abilities. 

Allied to having a proven experience of undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance within either a heavy engineering / manufacturing, process or production environment.
