Duties of a Contract Instrumentation Technician
- As a Contract Instrumentation Technician, you will be required to support our team of instrumentation technicians who calibrate and maintain our wide range of instrumentation equipment that is utilised in the monitoring of pressure, flow, temperature and Ph values.
- The role is hands on but will require you to have experience of supporting junior technicians, maintaining equipment registers and planning projects from conception to final hand over.
Requirements of a Contract Instrumentation Technician
- Ideally you will have gained your Instrumentation experience of supporting instruments within a heavy engineering or process environment and must have some experience of supporting staff.
- You ideally you will be apprentice trained, however must qualified to a City & Guilds Part C / NVQ 3 standard within either pure Instrumentation or E&I disciplines.

- Welding abilities: MIG / TIG / ARC
- Able to read Engineering Drawings.
- Hands-on experience with textile machinery and sewing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work double days and adapt to changing priorities.
