- Ensure that all plant and machinery is kept in a good working and clean condition.
- Program all Siemens & other PLC equipment. (Desirable)
- Assist with the installation of new plant equipment.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Electrical apprentice trained.
- HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- 17th / 18th edition qualified.

My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for contributing to innovative and transformational ideas. The role will play an integral part to the technical team, carrying out electrical and mechanical work on new and existing machinery. - Recognised engineering qualification.
- 18th edition.
- Proven knowledge of industrial process equipment.
- Able to work at heights.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the textile or composite industry would be advantageous but not essential.
- Have at least 2 years proven experience of working in a maintenance role within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Confident self-starter who can work on own initiative but also a team player within a small department.
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.
