Duties of a Maintenance Technician

  • As Special Purpose Machine Build Supervisor you will lead a multi-disciplined team of technicians to ensure each build is completed on time, within budget and that it’s handed over to the customer with complete satisfaction.  
  • As part of your role you will also be tasked with managing site services, driving 5S and ensuring all statutory regulations are adhered to.

Requirements of a Machine Build Supervisor, Workshop Supervisor, Maintenance Team Leader or Engineering Assembly Lead

  • Have a proven background in leading an engineering team within a special purpose machine build environment. Where you have had direct responsibility for plant performance, achieving targets, process development, mentoring staff, setting and monitoring KPI’s and managing time critical projects.
  • Qualified to a HNC standard Mechanically  
  • Have climbed the ranks of engineering from an apprentice level (ideally in toolmaking or mechanical fitting) into a position where you have supervised a team.

Contract Instrumentation Technician – Required for an Immediate Start

  • As a Contract Instrumentation Technician, you will be required to support our team of instrumentation technicians who calibrate and maintain our wide range of instrumentation equipment that is utilised in the monitoring of pressure, flow, temperature and Ph values. 
  • The role is hands on but will require you to have experience of supporting junior technicians, maintaining equipment registers and planning projects from conception to final hand over. 


Requirements of a Contract Instrumentation Technician

  • Ideally you will have gained your Instrumentation experience of supporting instruments within a heavy engineering or process environment and must have some experience of supporting staff. 
  • You ideally you will be apprentice trained, however must qualified to a City & Guilds Part C / NVQ 3 standard within either pure Instrumentation or E&I disciplines.

We are keen to employ a post apprentice maintenance technician, who is keen to continue their development into a fully-fledged Maintenance Technician and are willing to continue your on the job training, whilst supporting plant and equipment. 


Requirements of an Post Apprentice Maintenance Technician

Ideally you will have completed either a modern or advanced modern electrical, mechanical or multi skilled apprenticeship within either manufacturing, process or production environment. With formal Electrical, Mechatronic or Mechanical qualifications. 

OR

Hold a minimum of two years’ experience of undertaking planned and reactive maintenance within either a manufacturing, process or production environment and hold some form of Electrical, Mechatronic or Mechanical qualifications.
