My client is looking for an electrically qualified maintenance engineer to join their double day shift and who will be responsible for the planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and project work.
Maintenance Engineer Role Benefits:
Salary £42,000 (DOE).

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:
Double day shift. (Mornings and Noons).
Planned maintenance.
Engineering project work.
Installations when required.
Cover days in absence of maintenance staff.
Reactive maintenance.
As a Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
Apprentice trained with recognised qualification.
18th edition (advantageous).
Electrically bias with mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.
Experience working in an FMCG environment.
Pneumatics experience.
Fault finding abilities
Be able to use own initiative, make effective decisions and judgments when required.

Interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision
Perform hand-finishing and polishing of components for a flawless finish

Troubleshoot and repair tooling to maintain smooth production flow

REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in toolmaking or as a bench hand
Ability to hand tools and measurement instruments
Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Strong understanding of machining techniques and materials
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent teamwork skills

Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read technical drawings.
