Health & Safety Manager Responsibilties:
- Accident and incident investigation
- Resolve non-conformance.
- Keep uptodate with legislation and industry best practice.
- Organise all required H & S training.
- Develop, implement, and manage regulations under the Health and Safety at work Act 1974 safety programs (Confined space entry, LOTO, Safe Isolation of Plant, Hazard communication, Emergency response and Fall protection
- Assist the safety teams in process hazard assessments, including HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA, as required under COMAH.
- Act as Fire Officer on site.
- Mange the sites COSHH Assessment
Health & Safety Manager Requirements:
- NEBOSH
- IOSH
- Lead Auditor 45001, 14001 and 9001
- Experience of a COMAH site would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of 45001
- Experience at Senior level Health and Safety within manufacturing or chemicals
- To have led Audits

Key Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician:
- Apprentice trained – holding a Formal qualification in Electrical engineering.
- Strong Fault-finding abilities.
- Fault finding abilities with Siemens / Allen Bradley PLC’s
- Experience with Servo Drives, AC Drives, CNC Machines, Conventional machines,
- Holding a Slight mechanical ability would be at an advantage.
- Welding skills would be at an advantage.
Key Duties for the Maintenance Electrician:
- Perform Planned and preventative maintenance.
- Fault finding during production on site.
- Support your team and functions throughout the plant.
- Liaise with coordinator to establish requirements.
- Assessing each job and the need for spare parts
- Self-development activities
- Maintain high quality electrical installation, repairs and maintenance to machinery and site.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Maintenance electrician to join a Manufacturing Specialist within the Greater Manchester Area, are you looking to join a well-established company, a company who Design and manufacture and are a leading UK Organisation.
Shift the maintenance electrician will be required to work: 8am till 4:30pm

Ideally the Maintenance Electrician will hold the following:
- Previous experience within an ATEX Chemical or Process type industry
- COMAH experience would be at an advantage.
- Reactive maintenance
- Trouble shooting
- Planned preventative maintenance.
- Electrical infrastructure systems i.e., Single and 3 phase systems
- Instrumentation experience
- There is also preventative maintenance work which typically includes testing of alarms, electrical equipment emergency lighting, earth testing etc
- The type of work typically would be isolation of motors and electrical equipment to accommodate repairs/replacement by the fitting team as and when required to react to breakdowns.
Ideally, we are looking for an Apprentice trained engineer with:
- City & Guilds 2391 in testing & inspection.
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring regulations
- CompEx certificate
- Valid JIB Card
- IOSH Managing Safely

- We are looking for an Apprentice trained engineer.
- Holding a ONC / City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering
- Also holding their 18th IEE Wiring regulations.
- Flexibility is key as there will also be a call out Rota in place – rotating Weekly.
