CNC Grinder Pay and Hours
- Salary, including shift allowance: £27,000 - £36,000 (dependant on experience and capability)
- 37 hours per week, double day shift working pattern.
Early Shift – 6:00am - 2:00pm Mon-Thurs and 6:00am – 12:00pm on Friday
Late Shift – 2:00pm – 00:00am Mon-Wed and 2:00pm – 10:20pm on Thursday (there is no shift on a Friday when working lates, so you only do a four-day week)
Commutable From: Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Loughborough, Burton upon Trent,
CNC Grinder Role Overview
- Due to growth, the business has a position available for an experienced CNC Grinder.
- Cylindrical grinding is preferred, but all Grinding experience will be considered, and the salary offered will depend on your level of experience and what type of Grinding you have done.
CNC Grinder Candidate Requirements
- Candidates will have proven experience of CNC grinding techniques.
- Cylindrical Grinding experience would be highly advantageous.
- Working to very tight tolerances.
- Able to do both the Setting and Operating.
- Happy to work a double day shift, Monday – Friday (no Friday working on the lates week).

I am looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician on an early and lates shift (double days).
This is an outstanding opportunity to join the UK subsidiary of a large multi-national company. This is a great role for someone who is hands-on, technical, and operational.
As part of a top manufacturing group, as a Maintenance Electrician you will be required to maintain plant and machinery to a high standard through PPM and proactively schedule maintenance works to maximise service levels.
The package details for the role of Maintenance Electrician include:
- A salary banding that’s negotiable up to £45,000 depending on experience.

- Holidays starting at 23 and increasing to 28 with service.
As a Maintenance Electrician this will be a high-pressured environment so the ability to be able to work well under pressure is a pre-requisite of the position, in addition the ideal candidate will be:
- PC Literate, good knowledge of Excel / Word / PowerPoint
- General Maintenance Apprenticeship
- Have knowledge to read engineering drawings.
- 17th Edition is desirable.
- Experience of Mitsubishi & Alan Bradley PLC’s
- Some basic Welding skills (Arc / Mig) would be beneficial
