MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Job Description

I am looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician on an early and lates shift (double days). 

This is an outstanding opportunity to join the UK subsidiary of a large multi-national company. This is a great role for someone who is hands-on, technical, and operational.

As part of a top manufacturing group, as a Maintenance Electrician you will be required to maintain plant and machinery to a high standard through PPM and proactively schedule maintenance works to maximise service levels.

The package details for the role of Maintenance Electrician include:

  • A salary banding that’s negotiable up to £45,000 depending on experience.
  • Company Pension which is a salary sacrifice
  • Holidays starting at 23 and increasing to 28 with service. 

As a Maintenance Electrician this will be a high-pressured environment so the ability to be able to work well under pressure is a pre-requisite of the position, in addition the ideal candidate will be: 

  • PC Literate, good knowledge of Excel / Word / PowerPoint
  • General Maintenance Apprenticeship
  • Have knowledge to read engineering drawings.
  • 17th Edition is desirable.
  • Experience of Mitsubishi & Alan Bradley PLC’s
  • Some basic Welding skills (Arc / Mig) would be beneficial 

The Maintenance Electrician role is commutable from Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester.

  • £20,000 - £26,000, dependant on experience

The Installation & Planning Coordinator role is a newly created position. Installation & Planning Coordinator Candidate Requirements

Installation & Planning Coordinator Key Responsibilities

  • The Installation & Planning Coordinator will liaise with installation partners and customers to arrange installation of products
  • Planning and organising installations using the business system
  • Completing all documentation with the highest levels of accuracy and providing this to the relevant parties
  • Dealing with queries relating to installation and finding solutions
  • Dispatch and track products and update stakeholders of any issues
  • Maximising opportunities for installations
  • Ensuring all documentation is received following installations and actioned

With decades of experience, this UK leading business who are part of a large group, have remained at the forefront of their industry. They are currently working on a huge, long-term, high value project, which you will be part of in this role. 

The business is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector for a major, long-term project. The ideal candidate will have proven Quality Inspector, Quality Engineer, Quality Technician or Quality Control experience. 

You will be responsible for overseeing production processes, to ensure that the quality of the end product meets the required standards. You will collaborate with the Production, Finishing and Despatch departments to conduct inspections before products are despatched to site. You will ensure that any defects or improvements are identified and communicated.


Quality Inspector Salary, Hours, and Benefits

  • £31,000 - £33,000 (dependant on what hours you do)
  • 40 hours per week. There are two shifts available, days or afternoons 10:00am – 8:15pm

Quality Inspector Candidate Requirements

  • Proven Quality experience.
  • The environment is always changing, so you have to be adaptable. 
  • IT literate – an amount of time will be spent transferring data into the system.
  • A good communicator – confident enough to challenge individuals. 
  • UK Driving license as the site is not easy to get to via public transport.


Quality Inspector Key Responsibilities

  • Engage production teams in quality management processes and drive a continuous improvement culture.
  • Inspection of product at all stages of production in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan.
  • Identification of defects, non-conformance and opportunities for improvement within the production processes. Assistance in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Participate in internal and external accrediting body audits.
