Duties of a Maintenance Supervisor
As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be required to lead the maintenance team ensuring that PM’s are undertaken to schedule whilst also managing breakdown situations, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a manufacturing, process or production environment.
Requirements of a Maintenance Supervisor
You must have gained your experience from working within a manufacturing or production environment with experience of either supervising or managing a maintenance team. Allied to holding either City & Guilds or NVQ accreditation within an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
The Maintenance Supervisor role is commutable from Birmingham, Erdington and Sutton Coldfield

Senior Design Engineer Salary and Benefits
- £40,000 - £45,000
- 39.5 Hours per week
- 8:45am – 5:00pm, 4pm finish on Friday’s, or you can work 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday

Senior Design Engineer Candidate Requirements
- Any experience within heavy engineering, castings or similar would be a huge advantage.
- Ideally qualified to HND or Degree level, but this isn’t essential.
- You must have a sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and product design processes.
- Proven experience using both AutoCAD 2D and Inventor.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Mentoring and support of junior staff.
- The right personality is key, you will be an excellent communicator and a good listener.
- Able to travel overseas when needed – this won’t be too frequent.
Senior Design Engineer Key Responsibilities
- The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for the management of design activities from concept through to production validation.
- The robust design of products in accordance with the department procedures.
- Investigating design factors such as function, materials, performance, interchangeability, cost, operational efficiency.
- Preparation of Project Engineering data for new product assemblies and components, 3D / 2D Drawings, BOM's, Technical Specifications.
- Customer technical liaison on new projects, ensuring that the designs meet the customer's requirements and often exceed their expectations and remain competitive to achieve sales growth and increase market share.
- FEA of critical components.

ESTIMATOR
We are offering an exceptional opportunity for an Estimator.
We are a well -established manufacturing organisation, and we offer the complete service from concept, Design, 3D modelling, manufacture, installation and commissioning.
As our Estimator, you will be responsible for preparation of cost estimates, working closely with clients, engineers and designers in order to deliver accurate quotes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and submit accurate and competitive quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Evaluate supplier quotes to ensure suitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist with initial project planning and clearly communicate project requirements at the outset.
- Attend site meetings as necessary and foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, external customers, and internal teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience of estimating within a manufacturing industry sector
- It would be ideal, if you have experience of metalwork, or steelwork or construction
- Knowledge of quote preparation
- Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regs, design management, programme and risk assessment
- Good level of IT literacy
- Relevant qualifications advantageous
- This would suit a friendly, committed, motivated individual, who wants to enjoy a long-term career
